Awesome news man and enjoy even more cos it`s a girl. But you gotta have at least one of each so get cracking.
I really wish now that we hadn`t stopped at one of each but at least we get the best deal now cos we get to keep them for a while and then hand them back while we catch up on our energy reserves.
Be interesting to keep us informed on the progress of sleep time cos we had one of each.
The girls were a pain for the first couple of weeks but little angels after that and you couldn`t wake them with dynamite during the night.
The son was the opposite, great for the first 4 weeks then wouldn`t sleep at all for the next five years.
Anyway, girls are always a bit special for their dads and while sons do move on after appreciating their fathers for years, daddy`s little girl stays that way for the rest of your life, mostly.
Enjoy and try and get some sleep cos you`re gonna need it.
err, I got one of each :) (almost) 3 year old son.... who has even been to your neck of the woods this time last year!

That`s all right Bok, sorry my bad.
I actually have 2 of one (first twins and first girls in our family for 58 years) and a boy with an adopted brother. So 2 of each and I think Steph ( a very technical, multi lingual stress engineer) is in Pasadena just now but she flits round the world on a regular basis and may well be in Europe or Guiana or some such....maybe even Tokyo as that`s where she went to finish her degree and learn technical Japanese. Says it`s my fault cos all the kids were born abroad and she`s never lost her itchy feet. We do actually hear from her regular but she frequently can`t even remember where she is sometimes. Strange life but she`s happy and confirmed single career girl. Her twin (family call them the Terrible Red heads) is a stay at home cos she still loves daddy too much to get rid of her and she`s actually taken over this house, forcing me to sell her it to get rid of her again after she had major structural damage to her own house.
The boys, after a brief respite are in horses and now back into pubs but thankfully without me this time. One has just signed a deal with a major brewery to run a couple hundred real ale pubs and t`other is sorting the stables out having just got a good contract to train eventers. They might as well be twins as well though they`re chalk and cheese they`re inseparable and many think they`re gay tho` they`re not. Do sometimes wind people up though.
So that`s my family and one thing I can tell you is your kids are forever your kids and remain kids till the day YOU die.
So get cracking again cos modern standards now say you have to have at least 4 as the old 2.5 has gone out the window due to too many just having 2 and maybe the Chinese will take over the world :jester:
