View Full Version : next.txt
Anyone else noticed that the next.txt (http://www.seventeenorbust.com/sieve/next.txt) file appears to be consistently blank?

It's because there are no tests in the first-pass queue. This makes the server hand out second-pass tests to any clients connecting (even if they don't have QQQsecondpass).
If the project admins stop second-pass at 5M then we've only got another 7 to 9 days of second-pass left. They might decide to hand out the remaining <10M tests in garbage/error-fix/dropped-tests.
Then the first-pass queue will be populated again and first-pass will start the n > 10M tests.
So long as we don't actually run out of work, I don't mind what is handed out...
I'll be much happier when I can see that the first-pass or second-pass queues
are populated with another bundle of work, but I'm not worried *yet*.
Ok that makes some sense, but I thought it just showed the next test to be assigned - no matter what queue they're from? Obviously not...

We have first-pass running, and http://www.seventeenorbust.com/next.txt gives a 404 File Not Found error.
Can we get this fixed?
Edit: never mind, I reread the thread and discovered my error. the correct address, for those who care is
