I had to download the sieve client, so I tried setting it up with sobistrator and I haven't been able to get sobistrator to set the ranges in the status file. If sobistrator is supposed to edit the file, then there should be some point in the execution of the program when this happens, either after clicking OK or Refresh or upon exiting and I haven't seen it happen. Comments? My sieve is running, I set the ranges manually and sobistrator can at least work as a monitor.

I use sobistrator as a monitor only as many of my machines are not accessible directly from my laptop (where I run Sobistrator).

If you have large enough ranges (i.e. at least a week's worth) then the admin overhead isn't that much at all. (I have 2 (sometimes 3) machines sieving and I try to give them a full 1T range each so I only have to muck around with them every 4 weeks or so).

You have to set the first range manually and use the nextrange.txt option, as long as you don't run out of ranges you computer will keep crunching.
