Another new project. Interesting.

So em99010pepe, what do you think of this project? Is it CPU intensive or bandwidth intensive?

The only thing I remember about this project is that someone at the time I was crunching it said the predictions were no better than chance.

Nature -
It is Windows only (from recollection) nope - there is a client for linux as well
It is CPU intensive, but the packages downloaded vary in size.
It is an old project with a long history.
(actually it is much more an "application" than it is a project)

Method -
It is not based on chance. It is much better than that.
It uses Artificial Intelligence in the way it is meant to be used.
That is - after an outcome is provided by the market, the portfolio is recalculated in full to account for that outcome.

Audience -
The users of the results rank among the best of the stock market players.

Appropriateness -
It is more sensible to crunch this if you are actually going to make use of the results in making share/stock market decisions, otherwise you are simply crunching for someone else's commercial benefit, and whilst they will be happy for this, you will not see any benefit from it in the short or long term unless you intend becoming a Market Analyst or a Trader.

The project is CPU intensive and most important is the oportunity to climb to first in Miscellaneous Project Scores (http://www.dc-vault.com/showcat.php?by=0&cat=4) at DC Vault (http://www.dc-vault.com/index.php) :D and :stomp: old friends.
