This is not exactly DC project in any way.... it is click to donate project. I'm participating in this Race. I need about 350 more clicks in order to reach top 50 Racers. So, if anybody is interested to join this Race and compete against other Racers while in the same time we have opportunity to help 14 children each month then please click to following link...

I just noticed you can click several times a day. I just clicked 20 times. We need more clicks ~17,000.

...Care2 has guaranteed to make a donation of at least $1 for every 1000 clicks on the Children's race..

After reading that I prefer to donate money...$1/1000 clicks?!?!? Sometimes I don't know where the money goes. I donated more than $200 to the victims of the tsunami but I can't understand where and how they applied the money.
At least with UNICEF you receive feedback. You donate, a few days later you receive a letter explaining that your money went to X place to buy Y meds and so on....

Carlos, yes, this Race is the way to donate for free. Clicks help to sponsor 14 children via Children International (http://www.children.org). Of course, one can sponsor child directly via Children International for $18/month and can have more direct contact with that child and more information on where the money is spent. This Race is just small addition to help ini sponsoring those 14 children that are sponsored via Care2 Race.

I've also signed up to sponsor a child permanently in Chile. With all the money I spend on my 'hobby' it seems almost criminal to me not to spare $18 per month. I encourage anyone else who can to sponsor too.

Bok, that is great! I have also sponsored one child last August. I was able to send additional funds for her birthday and Christmas. We exchanged letters with child's family. One of the better things I have done in my life.

Carlos, UNICEF is just as great as Children International. Clicks are perfectly fine and thank you very much for each and every one of it. :thumbs:

New day for this Race begins at 8AM GMT, it's 4AM EST. Maybe it was still the same day for the Race, when it tells you that I've already click today?

Gopher, once you are at http://children.care2.com/i?p=257207876, and when you click on "Free Click to Help", if you scroll down you'll find under "Your Team's total visits" link that says "Register now -- it's free!". There you can register yourself for the Race, and get your own link. Once you're logon you'll be able to find buttons and banners for your blog. If you register under my link (http://children.care2.com/i?p=257207876) I'll still get credit for your clicks.

In the other day I had access to a lab with 20 machines. And I though I could help with more 20 clicks, well, I was wrong, I got in all machines "You have already clicked today". :bang: :bang: :bang:

Yeah the site is still live and the daily clicks do still count, it's not just kids you can help there are more things on there too, I got my own account and click it myself as well as trying to get few friends to click too.
