I have been so frustrated for the past couple of days. First I downloaded Fedora Core 1, only to find out they're not updating their headers. Then, yesterday, I downloaded Fedora Core 3 to my hard drive, only to find out my iso burning program rejected the media as "unusable," even though I can make video dvds just great with the same drive. So I, in the past couple days, have downloaded FC3 dvd file, FC4 cds and dvd files. The DVDs can't be transferred because, once again, the iso burning program won't burn the iso. I can get the iso program to burn cds, but except for an experiment with Feather Linux, they all get errors, even on my dad's computer. I'm giving up on burning isos, but I haven't given up on Linux.

So I'm making a request: I need a reputable vendor I can go to for both a FC3 and FC4 dvd.

Jasong,

Why don't you try with DVD Decrypter.
DVD Decrypter burns DVD isos's. It's better than Nero.

You might also want to verify that the MD5 sum is correct before burning.

lol, that's actually installed on my machine. I was looking for a dvd archiver a while back and downloaded it. Not sure if I've ever used it.

thanks, I'll try it.

To record a DVD just do this:

1º - MenuMode-ISO-Write
2º - Select file (select image to burn, ISO, BIN, MDS, PDI, NRG, etc)
3º - Select destination (your record device)
4º - Select write speed
5º - Write (click on the icon hard disk to DVD)

Yeah, that did the trick.

I'm now in what I believe to be the final stages of updating FC4 over the Internet. Many false starts(and two resets), but I'm getting there.
