Hi there friends and fellow DC'ers.

I hope I find you all well, I thought I'd pop in and say Hi, after a very very long absences, I feel of the face of the earth and have recently just landed again. I'm afraid I'm out of the DC game, but I had plenty of good friends here so I thought it only right to give a quick shout out atleast!

Hope everything is going well for you all, it meant a great deal to me being part of the team back when, and the challenges where a lot of fun!

IB > I'm still living in Australia, same as I always was.. although it's getting hotter here, we've had 10 consecutive months of hotter then average weather

LaurenU2 > Nice to meet you, I'm sure Free-DC is still kicking butt, I tried to see the Seti Stats, but didn't seem to work :(

Magnav0x> It's been much to long, since last time I was here, I've graduated uni and got a job.. since then it's all be somewhat overwhelming..
I'm working in IT, on call 27/7 so don't have a lot of free time, the time I do have is spent on my new obession which is photography.

So what's been happening around here, can anyone give me a quick update ?

Also do I need to change Seti Teams or something ?

SETI Classic is over, you need to switch to BOINC SETI if you want to continue!

Bok is now the master of the stats - the link Lauren2 posted is the devloper's box he runs :D beta mode :P

Seti is so old [sorry for those BOINC users I just don't like BOINC] (ya need to do something new)

Arh, well it servers me right for disappearing to come back and find the projects over. Hmmm, I really don't think I can spare the time or energy to get reinvolved, apart from the fact all my hardware is no seriously outdated :(

(How did Team Free DC end up in Seti Classic Stats ?)

clearly you still have a computer. therefore you have no excuse not to do DC of some type.
if you want advice for a particular usage style (dialup/sneakernet, laptop, etc) then just ask.

but no excuses. :P

Nothing but laziness and a lack of spare CPU cycles, my PC is running all day but its already doing fairly memory/CPU intensive tasks, considering it's age.
I'd have to have a long think about it before I got reinvolved, and pick the right project to join too.
