Ok guys I need some seious help here. I have gone all Linux on one of my home boxes again. This time I have gone for Suse 9.1. Fine as far as I have gone but two things I need help with:

1. I have an MSI PC54G2 PCI card and it doesn't find it during the install.

2. What's a good email client for Linux.

3. Any other cool tips from suse/Nix buffs would be good.

I've been here before but given up (weak I know) and gone back to The Dark Side.

Help a young Jefi out. :)

You can download version 10 for free here (http://en.opensuse.org/Released_Version). Maybe it will have the drivers you require .

Never used Linux ( yet ) so Im not going to be much help :(

1. Download a more recent version of SuSE or some other distro. SuSE 9.1 is over a year old, IIRC, and Linux moves constantly (unlike, say, Windows).

2. Do an update. I haven't used YAST in years, so I can't tell you how.

3. Thunderbird is a very good e-mail client. Works under Linux just like it does under Windows. If you are addicted to Outlook, try Evolution.

Find a distro with a good, helpful user forum or e-mail list, where you feel comfortable. Use that distro.

I'm downloading the Internet install of Suse 10. See how that goes.

I'll then grab Thunderbird.

Cheers for the input
