I'm trying to convince my dad to give me a loan so I can get a laptop, I want to be able to watch television in the living room with my favorite woman in the world, my mother, while surfing the Internet. Also, when I go to my mental health place, there's a lot of dead time, so it would be nice to have something to do.
Because of that last one, I have a request to make of the forum owner, but I'm not totally sure who that is. I'd like a full offline backup of the forums to put on my hard drive and an update script I can run, but I don't want to piss anyone off because of a sudden bandwidth increase.
Other than simple tasks and DC, I probably won't be doing a lot with my computer, so I can probably afford to fill up a good part of my hard drive.
I pretty much expect some humorous jabs to come my way because of this, but I hope we can make this happen.
