I'm on my secondary Linux box right now, which is the reason I'm still online.

Sometime last night my computer shut down, and pressing the power button does nothing. I'm not sure what information about it will help, I'm not even sure what the motherboard is called, although I know it has a Sempron in it, it's Socket A, I do know that. It has a pair of 512MB memory modules and a graphics card as old as dirt. The main hard drive(with the operating system) is only about 15-16 gigabytes. It's paired with an 120GB hard drive where I store everything not absolutely necessary for WindowsXP to run.

I WAS going to install the stuff I won at the Christmas party as a diskless Linux node as soon as I could rearrange my room. Now it looks like it will be a replacement for my Windows motherboard.

Did you try clearing the CMOS?

My dad says the problem is that the PSU fan gave out and killed the PSU, so now I'm about to research PSUs. I'm hoping I can get the people in #RieselSieve to help me out.

Advice is welcome.
