How do I know if I have a second pass unit?
My username in the GUI is now showing as drezhaQQQsecondpass and I just downloaded a new test with k=33661 and n=6729768
Is this a second pass unit? and how would I find out?
After second pass units, cos I hear they're quicker than normal ones. I'm running it on a old Pentium II 266MHz CPU. (Afraid my AMD 64 3500+ is staying on BOINC...)
Cheers in advance.

Just look at the n value with n=6729768 it is a secondpass test.
Look at http://www.seventeenorbust.com/secre (http://www.seventeenorbust.com/secret)t to see where second and firstpass are right now.

Sorry, bit new to this project (well Ok I created an account ages ago but didn't complete a test. )
Someone told me these second pass tests were quicker...
And I cant see anything for deadlines? Are there any?
EDIT: Just noticed, there seems to be less blocks to do. This right?

Yes secondpass are tests are a lot faster (as far as I can see it is something like 4 secondpass tests in the time it takes to complete one first pass at the current state) , even though also the blocks do not take the same time. Try searching this forums on the subject of cems. The new scoring system that will probably be implemented when the administers of this project have a bit of time on their hands should not be as confusing and misleading as the one used now.
As far as I remember the test expire after 1 month right now unless you if you don't report on the block in that time.
It is nice to have you with us, nothing to be sorry for, there are no stupid questions only stupid answers.

Many thanks.
Nice to take part in the project. Seems nice and stable:banana:
Unlike some of the BOINC projects...

At that nice and stable situation will not change.
To give you an idea of how little I think of BOINC, I would more seriously consider porting SB to grapics cards or Macs.
Cheers,
