Hi guys,

Is there any progress on identifiers of what OS is actually crunching the data? I remember a while ago I mentioned I thought it would be a nice idea to add XP64bit into the statistics, separately from XP32bit.

However, that is luxury talk. What would really really want, is to know if we can get Haiku tracked. Ehrm... Haiku hasn't actually crunched anything yet, but as far as I can tell from this thread
http://www.haiku-os.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=724
We're not that far away from it.

The team I represent is "TeamHaiku". We've done pretty well and play in the top25 league. I would be so so so happy to see Haiku be identified separately once it crunches it's first test. Can anyone tell me if this is A) possible B) difficult C) when it'll be done ;P

TeamHaiku is a support team to tell the world that Haiku is part of the future and bring notice to this remarkable operating system. We wanna show that we have power, and also the power to crunch! Anyone who wanna support Haiku can come crunch for us!

As I'm also a member of TeamHaiku - I also want to know if there's anything we can do to raise our OS's awareness!

Haiku is binary-compatible with BeOS, and therefore can run the BeOS version of SoB natively. Does this mean that the SoB client running under Haiku will report it's OS type as BeOS currently?

There are at least 2 members of TeamHaiku (http://www.seventeenorbust.com/stats/teams/team.mhtml?teamID=337) now running prp on Haiku OS machines. I am one of them!

First successful attempt by Haiku user (no networking):

First successful attempt with networking by another user:

And finally, my current production in Haiku on a spare PIII 600:

Right now, the machines being tested aren't high-performance - but this will change as Haiku becomes more stable and new users begin to use it.

What would it take to get Haiku added to the list of OSes? Would we need to compile a new client?
