Supposedly there are about 3,000 Opterons expected to be faulty out on the market. Produced in late 2005 or early 2006. Single core only.
High temperature on the chip + high outside temperature means the faulty chips will consistantly provide false results in floating point operations.
Chips are being replaced for free.
