I was bored just now and had a quick look at my PRP client's log, the log covers the period from Thu Feb 17 00:45:26 2005 to Wed May 3 16:09:55 2006 and is 514,492 lines long and is 28mb in size. Quite a large log file! Does this affect performance at all? No doubt some of you hardcore crunchers will have much more impressive log sizes, could be interesting to have a little competition and see who has the biggest :|party|:

MATT, simply put a limit of the LOG file in the config of the SoB client!

That log is full of GOOD STUFF!... I want to keep mine ;)

The machine i'm on now has a log that's about 45mb with 900462 lines - but i'm relatively new at this ;) It dates back to 10/15/2005 - but it's running 2 clients (P4 HT).

now that i think about it..maybe i'll parse it (and my other machines' logs) into a database for my viewing pleasure.

I'm using the FreeBSD client that doesn't have the GUI and I think is missing this option??? As umccullough said it's full of interesting stuff anyway ;)
