According to the September 2006 Popular Mechanics, taking gas from the ground, processing it, delivering it to the customer, and using it, uses up a total of 25 pounds of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas.

On the other hand, for beer, from the time wheat is grown, processed, and all the little details are done that get it into your hand so you can enjoy it, the carbon dioxide emissions are 1.2 pounds of carbon dioxide.

So, obviously, people who stay home and drink a 6-pack care more about the envirornment than people who leave the house.:lmao:

Save the envirornment, become a stay-at-home alchoholic. :looney: :rotfl:

Edit: I reread the article. They're talking about eight "tall ones," so just one can of beer would be .15 pounds of carbon dioxide. Bottoms up!!!
