There's a new version of the cuboid client.

The simulation can be run in the system
tray and there is an auto startup option. The new program version is called
3.2.
Unfortunatelly, we can not to realize your other requests. In particular,
you will have to identify the users in the statics without a unique userid.

Thanks to your whole team,
Danail

Excellent! Working fine here though I haven't tested the auto start option yet.

Starts up without having to click the go button, excellent.

Now i can run it as a service.

you best update as when 3.1 talks to its server it seems to stop and demand to be updated to 3.2:swear: !!!!!!!

Now version 3.3.

One upgrade a day is a bit much!!

Don't get much choice with the upgrade either.

Use the new version or leave the field :)

Tell me about it, As i am a home cruncher (except for laptop) i will be stopped by now.

Something that might amuse you PCZ....... Company that i work for has been having estimated elec bills for years........ I pointed out that this was not good. Southern electric sent in a bill for £67,065:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:D :D

Easy, talk of leccy bills makes me go faint. :rotfl:

I'm pretty much 100% home pharmer as well these days.
I've got the odd box running at work, just the machines on my desk most of the time.

Lucky for me i'm on holiday this week and am here to restart the clients.

Have you thought about a static translation on port 3389 so you can RD into one of your boxes at home from work.
I'm guessing you have ADSL.

BTW
New version of the client is really flying seems to be quite a bit faster than 3.2.
Anyone confirm i'm not just imagining it ?

I was about to post the same question.
I think so when looking at the simulations. They seem to go faster.

Certainly running faster on my VMs. Seems to have magnified the change after the update.

Yeah it looks to be much faster here too.

Can't see a changelog anywhere for new versions of the client though.

I'm making 35k an hour on my A64 running at 2.0 GHz. And you guys?

Sounds about right Carlos.

I just timed one of my A64's running at 2.4ghz and it's doing around 40k an hour.
I checked the same box when it was running the previous client and it was doing low 20's.

The client isn't faster, it depends on the conditions of the simulation! :bang:

Yepp looks like it.

Show program graphics
Big box nice and fast, small box slower.
Hows that for a scientific explanation :)

A bit like EON this one, output varies depending on the progress of the simulation.

Looks like we are going to have some fight from second place team.
Monday I will start working again so my work machine will be added.

What second place team would this be ?

I see no competition, we own this one

Just in case i'll rumage around in the garage and find another 486.
Sure i've got a 25mhz SX in there somewhere.

Seriously i hope they bring it.
Project won't meet the 1 Billion target otherwise.

Better restart your nodes because new simulations are faster then the previous ones.

I would worry about the 8 seconds it takes to stop and restart the client. Can't sleep at night thinking about it! :lmao:

No :swear:

This version 3.4 won't run multiple instances.

Start up more than one and after a few seconds you will get an io 32 error.
So just one instance per machine.

Helix_Von_Smelix

same here. only one instance per box!!!!
