THE Crocodile Man, Steve Irwin, is dead. He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It appeared that he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest, Queensland Police Inspector Russell Rhodes said.

Not sad at all! Celebrate his life if it touched you. Think of how many people don't get to die doing what they loved. He was very fortunate in being able to build his life and career doing what he wanted to do.

I say, raise a pint in toast and shout out a "Good on ya mate!"

He was SOME fella. Smashing bloke and did an enormous amount of work in getting Australia Zoo on the map. Not long had a baby as well. Great shame but you always knew, with the risks he took, that something was going to get him one day.
Really going to miss him.
