I have a pending job that I have started up again as it was going to expire.
Major thanks to whoever wrote that bit on how to edit the registry etc.
Anyway I edited the registry and the client picked up the cache file and continued on. However there seems to be no update in my pending wu list so I'm wondering if I can compete it in time and not lose all the credit on it?

I'm not sure it updates in real time on that list.
Have you sent in a block from it ?

sent in several blocks and the other wu I rescued the same time has updated.

Double check the registry,
My bet is you have made a typo on the k or n value.
Curious about the expiration time? How long do you think the expiration time is for the workunit?
And yes you have to be very careful witht he hex and decimal. It could either reset the test or produce an incorrect residue.

Completely Foz'ed up the K part of it 67067 instead of 67607.
Doh :bang:
The pending page has updated, in realtime  back on track.
It had last been updated on August 18th so I expected it to expire Sept 18th.

Hmmm... does that mean it's been using the wrong "k" for calculation now for some time? or is the client smart enough to pull that out of the cache?
smells like a cooked residue :(
