Asus P5V-VM DH looks like a fun board, except I needed to flash it for it to even detect the CPU properly.

1Gig Kingston RAM

Didn't want to use the onboard GFX so have a 256mb 7300GS

Core2Duo 6300 retail, currently at stock speeds etc.

Windoze 64bit Corp.

Running 2 instances of SoB at 48 degrees 2.7 mill per core.

@Fozzie: is that Asus P5V-VM DH micro ATX sized or standard ATX?
@guru: where do you get the E6600 so cheap? We have to pay about € 300 (about $ 360) for this one!!

The-Mk yes it's a micro atx but the layout is great.

Bok you just can't wait for that quad core monster.

I saw a nice dual dual core Xeon system with HT on Ebay. 8 logical CPUs, nice.

A snip at £1,100.

True, but from what I've read the November release will only by the Extreme version right ? I can't justify that one, so I'll have to wait until next year :(

Few people over at XtremeSystems have one though so they are available somehow...

I've got 17 woodcrest 3Ghz servers and 18 core duo 2Ghz systems to install. They are all dual proc motherboards but only have one cpu in them for now.
