the 3800 X2 and the Core 2 Duo ahve survived intact, I posted the initial horror via the T30 IBM lappie that of course was OK.

Really strange problems with the 3200+ which looks like it might come back to life.

The 4 gang I had them running off is definitely dead, thankfully that seems to have saved everything off it. :thumbs:

Thought I was one dead in the water Fozzie.

FedeX works better. Their slow delivers guaranty your new equipment will die of old age long before power spikes have a chance to inflict damage. :bang:

Bok meant UPS as in UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY instead of the shipping company, United Parcel Service. :-p

just gotta sort out Winsoze XP again.

I suppose every cloud has a silver lining. I did really need to reinstall on this box. It's now running far smoother and lighter.

The Core 2 Duo now has the best GFX card so no games back on this one.

I'll keep it as the Azureus downloader. have added another 160gb storage to it so will use it for PVR too. :clap:

Dump Azureus RIGHT now. Go and get utorrent.

uTorrent is 100012341025097315 times better than Azureus since it is as (if not more) functional as Azureus and used about 1mb of RAM instead of amounts that grow with the longer the program is open and the more you download.

Please do this for your own good. :-p

yeah uTorrent is nice, use BitLord myself also there is a nifty "extension" for firefox - a Torrent Search Engine to add to the list of search engines on the toolbar :)
glad ya your back up and ready to Fozzinate again...
I've seen the effects "lightning" has on bits of kit, not nice...
