Talk about a good score!! I went to take the garbage out to the dumpster the other day, and saw a black computer case sticking out.I decided to grab it since someone may have thrown out something with a network card, or AGP card that I could stash for my next build, or as a spare.I got it home and tried firing it up, with no joy.I opened up te case, and almost had a heart attack after seeing the motherboard,it was an Abit NF7.After I recovered I thought well lets pull the cpu cooler off, and see what cpu it has.Once again, almost had a heart attack, it was an XP2500 Barton core. Well, I had already put a stick of ram, and a hdd in it to test it, so I thought wonder if the psu died in it.Just so happened to have a spare psu, stuck it in, whammo...IT FIRED RIGHT UP!!! Of course me being the overclock freak that I am started checkin to see what kind of o.c. I could get out of it.Well damn, it's one of the the locked Bartons, but still got it up to 2.3 gig on stock voltages, and cooling!! Now just have to get a couple of sticks of pc3200, and I'll have another cruncher!! Damn I LOve Dumpster Diving!! :jester: :banana:
