Today, I checked my email, and I got the following from my only living, otherwise very wise, grandfather:
7:05 PM
This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and He
Asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?"
I responded:
"Lord please; take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much." The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginning, but not its end.
This message works on the day you receive it. Let us see if it is true.
ANGELS EXIST but sometimes, since they don't all have wings, we call
them FRIENDS.
Pass this on to your friends. Something good will happen to you at 7:05
In the evening; something that you have been waiting to hear .
Please do not break this prayer; send it to a minimum of 5 people
Your homework for today is to tell at three friends that (1)God probably doesn't work on a timeline, and (2) chain letters are for morons or people trying to get something for nothing. After you finish that, you might want to edit the above quote so it ISN'T a chain letter.
The big question is how to teach granddad, one of the best people you'll ever meet, that sending these things out, while well-meant by him, is just WRONG.
