I've been running the Windows SoB client (as a service on XP SP2) for a long time now, and it recently started crashing on me. I have two clients running simultaneously (my machine is hyperthreaded). One of them is consistently crashing when it reaches 100% with these settings:

current n: 12483874
current k: 55459

The error (as reported by Visual Studio 2005) is:

Unhandled exception at 0x007d0c5c in sb.exe: 0xC00000094: Integer division by zero.

Let me know if you need any more info. If this problem is unlikely to be fixed soon, please let me know how I can skip this test so my machine can continue working at full capacity (currently it's only running the non-crashing instance).

Looks like it won't be fixed soon...

I'd suggest you keep a copy of the z12483874 file, and delete the registry key.

Have you tried re-running the test in its entirety? (By renaming that file above?)

I renamed the files as you suggested (there were 4 of them and they had different but similar names), and it appears to have worked (After a couple weeks, SoB made it through the test without crashing).

Thanks!
