I can access Riesel Sieve, Free-DC, and Mersenne forum from this computer, but I can only access Mersenne forum from my laptop.

Windows XP, 1 Gig of RAM, I'd have to look up the other info. Oh, yeah, it's a wireless connection, which might be the whole problem, although me and my dad can't figure out how.

Try using a different browser like Firefox. I've seen IE behave like this, though usually after some spyware has mangled the winsock properties.

I was using Firefox when the problem happened.

Okay, a hard-wired connection works, lspfix didn't find anything, and the wireless connection doesn't work at all. I'm pretty sure my network card is killed, it was probably a bad idea to install utorrent and leave it on overnight.

Since I don't want to pay to have it fixed, I'm going to do research on connecting to a wireless netork through a USB dongle.

Edit: Unless somebody has another idea what could be wrong.
