I know we have some possible :stomp: is some projects such as

DPAD with Anandtech our target

Proteins@Home where Alliancefrancophone is our target

OGR-25 where quite a few are within our compass.

DPAD is only Windoze but the others have support for multiple OSes.

So fi you fancy a :fight: these are ones the teams involved could do with some more GHZ.

:Pokes:

Also our SoB crew is under pressure from DPC.

Actually Proteins is windows only too, otherwise I'd have my linux boxen on it...

Those were putting me up to 1M in Eon (achieved), now I moved most all back to BOINC and for lack of something else, ABC@Home for now..

*EDIT* had a couple of spare windows boxen which I've just fired up and put DPAD on. Would like to see #2 on that sooner..

How is the linux client in Einstein?

Equal credits to windows ?

If so, I may throw my linux boxen on it as I'm looking for something different for a week or so.

I wish the stats updated more than once per day though :(

Bok, I can give you a few numbers comparing the FreeBSD and Windows versions. Since the new S5RI units have been deployed:

P3 933, ~33,000 secs for ~55 credits (FreeBSD).
Athlon 1GHz, ~52,000 secs for ~55 credits (Windows).
AMD 64 3700+ @2.5GHz, ~9,000 secs for ~55 credits (Windows).

The project manager(s) are usually friendly and quick to respond on the forum, it may be worth posting for more frequent stats updates?

I've recently moved nearly all of my Einstein horses to Proteins@home, but I'll move some back if we can get a bit more interest going.

Edit: updated crunch numbers

:hiya: Bok

The Linux client in Einstein is equal to Windows.

As for hardware core2duo seems the best, AMD good but P4 not good at all.
