While on the openprojects IRC network yesterday, I received the following notice:
-lilo([email protected])- [Global Notice] Congratulations to the Debian folks, who have apparently just released Debian 3.0 within the last couple of hours. Debian have been here on the network since 1997 or so. I've been asked to note that mirror sites can be found on http://www.debianplanet.org/node.php?id=742 !
-lilo([email protected])- [Global Notice] Apparently I was incorrect....the url I gave contains release notes for Debian 3.0 and a lot of other stuff, but the mirror list is on http://www.debian.org/misc/README.mirrors .... thanks to everyone for their patience and someone please make sure I get a good timely notification on the next FreeBSD release so I can announce that too :)
So there you have it, Linux folks. Debian 3.0.
