It's interesting to note the DC Vault team positions relative to the membership of respective forums:

The DC vault top 15:

1:Ars Technica...........dunno......lots.
2:Free DC.................2964 members.
3:AMD Users.............766 members.
4:Reckenkraft...........1075 members.
5:Knights Who Say Ni.......1102 members.
6:Team Norway.........209 members.
7:Anandtech..............157-100 members.
8:TNT...........416 members.
9:Ninja...........1466 members.
10:Crunchers Inc.......66 members.
11:XtremeSystems....46-891 members.
12:Picard....................648 members.
13: DPC......1657 members.
14:OC-UK........24-700 members.
15:Boinc.Be..........183 members.

Given the above board membership rates I think my lil team (Crunchers Inc) and Team Norway do a pretty good job here in DC land.

My team averages 5345 vault points per board member compared to Anandtechs 2.39 points.

Oh and as for XS............7.43 points

Anandtech and XS should be miles ahead and out of sight but us lil teams keep them reined in despite the lack of a gazillion members/advertising etc to recruit from.

Wouldn't say no to getting our membership up to 100 though :)
Don't see why the so-called big guns should get ALL the kudos.....Why if I had a board with 100-000 members it'd be game over

Three cheers for the lil teams

What you aren't taking into account though is what each of these teams are..

Take XtremeSystems, Ars and Anandtech for instance. They have many many users who have probably never touched a DC project. They use the sites mainly because of all the other offerings they have. Free-DC to a smaller degree as we host some official boards for projects and there is also 600 people signed up for the stats which requires a login - 450 of them are in teams other than Free-DC..

Whereas (and forgive me if I'm wrong) Crunchers Inc is purely a DC team so close to 100% of your membership is running DC for the team.. correct?

Correct..........my point was that the smaller teams don't have the masses of untapped resources.

Shame more of those masses don't get involved in the projects........good for the standings of the lil teams though :D
