So, sometime in late June I'm going to use a few airmiles and Marriott points and take my son (age 4 1/2) up to NY seeing as I've somehow never managed to get there in the 10 years I've been in the US..

Going to stay at either the Category 7 Marriott Marquis in Times Square or the cat 6 Courtyard on Fifth Avenue..

So, apart from Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty (and the huge Toys'r'us) where would you all recommend I take him ?

i went to empire state building once and the line was incredible. no line outside, just a slow moving line up stairs till you reach an elevator.

trip to statue of liberty will give you a boat ride

subways are interesting and handy.
