I know that it's almost certain that it's not a perpetual motion machine, like it's creator believes. But it IS possible, IMIO, that he created the most kick-ass battery ever.

/me goes to Google to try and find some blueprints.

Well he hasn't demonstrated it yet. And as it happened when he was supposed to demonstrate it, they ran into "technical difficulties". Surprise, surprise. Don't get too excited until there has been actual proof it works.
