View Full Version : How to cope with Eon's downtime

I think this is an awesome project, so what I'm going to do over the next few weeks is take various projects and see how well they can cope with an Eon/other project setting. Specifically what I'm going to do is install Eon and some other project on my computer and mess with priority settings in Windows Task Manager.

To the moderators: I don't know much about mod powers, but if you could take the next post(I'm going to make a quick empty post) and use it to consolidate anything important discovered in the thread, that would be great.

Okay, apparently, the Low(or Idle) setting works very well in splitting things 50/50 between Eon and BOINC, LLR and Prime95.

This isn't the way I remember. The only thing I can figure is that either it was so long ago that I tried this that it was before my Pentium-D, or Microsoft got there act together.

Maybe this thread isn't necessary. :looney:
