I remember seeing that way back about 2000 or before at Comdex
But they did it on a projection screen back then
But I like that table too Just added it to me X-mas list:santa:

Honestly, I think it would be better to just have special eyeglasses that display stuff, possibly in 3D, and you'd wear sensors on your thumbs and index fingers to control the virtual screen.

That would certainly be better than buying hardware for every place you want to compute.
