This is the sweetest motherboard I have ever seen or used.

How do you keep that thing in place? With that chassis 1 fan turnin' at 112K RPM, it's either scootin' or liftin' :rotfl:
:cheers:Sweet looking box. What CPU is that?
I'm thinking it's about time to upgrade here.

What's the default CPU volt?

Because of speed step, .85 - 1.5v is its range.
Stock voltage is 1.325v.
When it's lower the 1.325v, it conserves power and reduces heat.

Of course. I'm leaving my machine at 1.3V and 2.83GHz for more a week or so and then I'll try to decrease voltage step by step to reduce heat generation.

I found that memory is really important with DDR2.
I picked up 2x2GB Patriot PC2-6400 5-5-5-12 2volt
For the other ECS cheap motherboard cruncher, I am using A-DATA.

Just one question IB........
Why is it just running at stock from new?:rotfl:
Disgusting.:harhar:
That setup is on my new year shopping list....next to the wife's Italiano Designer overpriced kitchen for the new house.
Seriously tho', I need a couple new video servers to replace the ones I lost when the sub station went poof and that's what I'm charging them for (sortof, kindof, roughly speaking ya know....). Wasn't my fault the 2 machines were working without the suicide batteries online for the first time in yonks, I was waiting for replacement battery packs (lost in the Xmas post). Never mind, apparently I'm covered for upto £60,000 on the mains spike/surge warranty thing. And no, normal plug in anti surge multi sockets do NOT protect against a mains 22Kv supply transformer losing 2 of it's 3 phases, exploding and catching fire although it apparently continued supplying variable power for around 3 hours before the supply people got to it. Dunno what the total damge bill will end up at for the rest of the area but we were lucky, sort of, most of my circuits are protected at source, wasn't a radio ham for nought y'no.
So, we gonna get some expensive memory in there and wind 'er up skipper? Don't think I' m ready for DDR3 prices yet tho' I saw them and said ouch!
