Well, 2007 could not have been better for me. The mighty Geelong Footy Club won the premiership for the first time in 44 years and the tories got whooped in the election. I don't see how 2008 can top that, unless it features two redheads and a hot tub.

2008 will see the mighty Swans reign triumphant once more (once they sort their personnel problems, encourage a few players to retire, and finally get some strong replacement players from the draft to share the load).

Best game I ever saw was Swans v Cats in... 1997(?) They oversold the SCG, and five thousand people had to go next door to watch it on the big screen at the SFS. Abblett was in scorching form, but I think Swans held out. Sensational game :)
