Donation Money for Free-DC

Hey guys, I'm wanting to try something to earn some money for Free-DC, donations to cover hosting costs, etc. It's a fairly simple process, and if you don't want to do this, you don't have to. Yes, it's a pyramid type scheme, no, you don't have to sell anything :)

Just click on this link (http://clix4coins.com/index1.php?ref=gms8994), sign up, and watch the 4 ads that you're given. I'd suggest Firefox, just so if there's any spyware they might have. Each 'ad' takes 60 seconds; you'll be done in under 5 minutes. For every ad that you watch, you gain .03. I know it doesn't sound like much, but whenever you sign up under me, and watch an ad, I get .01. That means I get .04 for you watching ads, that will go toward Free-DC.

What do you all think?

Doesn't seem like much. How many users have logged on to the forum within the last 6 months? Say it's 500 (I have no idea) and 20% of them are willing to help out with viewing ads - that's only $4.00. How often can the ads be viewed?

Surely there must be more lucrative alternatives. Whilst I would surely pay if I had to, I don't think membership fees is the way to go, and it would kind of contradict with the whole Free part of Free-DC. :)

Looking on the front page and forum, I can't see a PayPal donate button, like the one on the stats pages.

I'm up for anything to help out where I can though and I'm sure there are plenty of others around here that will (and do) help too.

You can view the ads once per day. So at 20%, that's $4 per day, *plus* whatever you guys would generate. You can get payouts at every $20, so in theory, every 5 days we could generate $20 for Free-DC. That would pay for (if I'm not mistaken) the hosting for everything each month here...

I'm all for a Paypal button. Let's set a goal of being a certain amount ahead in money for the monthly costs, and for the expensive stuff post the need in the forum and put up some stats telling who gave what and if it was put in a certain category.

I'm all for a Paypal button. Let's set a goal of being a certain amount ahead in money for the monthly costs, and for the expensive stuff post the need in the forum and put up some stats telling who gave what and if it was put in a certain category.

Hardly worth it, true. But every bit helps, and it only takes a few minutes a day...
