Cool, my rating is much higher than I expected. But once we max out our level, is that when the game really begins? :|party|:
It's gone through and ranked everyone, so poor IB has the hardest time, given he is at level 100 already... :jester:

How did I get such a low bar on level up?
What's this relate to?
I think because you have the most posts :) so you got put at level 100 and right at the start of trying to get the next level.

It should be even better once I migrate to vb 3.7 which should be out of beta soon.. already running it on my other forum and it's stable enough..

Eugh, this thing is ugly as hell. Can we opt out of viewing it, like you can with sigs?
I much prefer the way this one looks (http://guildwars.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=474950).
No,
I can remove it if people think that strongly about it.

So Tell Us what Each of the Orange, Blue. and Green bars mean
Just move your cursor over them and it should explain it.
There is also a link in the 'quicklinks' which goes to http://www.free-dc.org/forum/xperience.php
That shows the leaderboard
Points are given for a wide variety of things..not just posts, but days online, activity, thread reads etc etc
and in vb 3.7 also for adding tags to threads, being members of social groups etc etc

My first impression recalls the adage, "comparisons are odious".
In my opinion, this takes competitiveness a step too far. We can have fun with a thread for who has the mosts posts, but we don't hold this up as a goal for those with many posts or a downcount for those with few. The central idea of Free-DC being you can come and go as you please, both in crunching and in forum participation. I count friends in Free-DC that we seldom hear from, yet remain friends. Awarding points for participation goes over the edge. Participation should be its own reward, without counters.
You would honestly think this as competing??
I'm amazed, as I see it just as a total piece of fun.
Perhaps I've lost the plot a bit. hmm

Lauren, you have to hover your mouse over one of the bars and let your mouse sit still for a second or two without being moved, then a tiny box pops up and describes the bar you are currently hovered over.
I don't mind the fun of it, I'm more concerned by how much space its taking up over there. I'm probably one of those that just doesn't like change. :)
Graphics can be interchanged... but I'm terrible at graphics.
I'm sure there are some out there, if someone want to search for them. Look for vbExperience.
I'd be happy to look at alternatives.

OK I guess the Green bar is like a post counter from what I can deduce, but what are the orange and blue for Naughty or Nice :tempted:

Blue = % till next level
Green = Activity over past 3 weeks (I think)

Wow, I can't believe my rank is near the top with only 8% activity.
What does 100% activity mean, you read every singe thread that is posted?

What is the added value for these bars at the left?
I have read this topic but the explanation does not give me any clue for a purpose.
