View Full Version : Website/stats after back-end change

Statistics update frequencies appear to be reduced in general. Interestingly, in contrast to what was happening before the back-end change over, the team stats, like e.g. http://206.248.62.8/teampages/team42.html are now updated more frequently than the individual "high-flyers" stats. Also, the latter page does not build-up properly: either the individual "pseudy energy" or the individually generated structures are NOT shown at all. If you empty the browser cache, it does NOT improve. Also, reloading of the page does not solve the problem.

Strange stuff...
Michael.

:rotfl: This actually helps me little. However, interestingly it works fine now - for unknown reason. It did not for others here - I had of course checked with colleagues BEFORE I reported this.

Since the server cutover, I am also, sporadically, experiencing this same problem. That is, the data associated with the tags 'Your best scoring structure' and 'Number of structures you have contributed' sometimes display as a picture placeholder. However, if I right click on the picture placeholder and click 'Show picture', it will (sometimes) display the data.

Old news, encladeus. Its was already reported by a few of us already. Try checking the other threads, sometimes you'll find that the issued is being checked out and even possibly fixed. =)

At any rate, check out the response from Brian here:

Nice to hear that this has apparently been reported earlier (which makes me curious why Howard said "That page looks fine to me" if this was a known problem - could better have referred to the relevant thread).
The problem is, I don't have the time to browse all the messages here. In the "known bugs" section I did not find it - that's where I usually look before I go here. ;)

Its the classic problem that because they are on the inside, things look good to them. When you're entire network is part of your organization, its sometime hard to see things from the "outside."

Of course that's why if there is a problem we should let them know. The forum should be the first stop so they don't 150 e-mails on the same subject. =) The forum is the preferred method for most things.

Something that is urgent or relating to your personal account... like "is 12345 my password..." obviously are better suited for e-mail.

Best,
