...I've been around the block a time or two ....but I've got an E2160 dually Celeron running at 1.8X2 that I KNOW will go to 3.0X2 with little or no open case adjustments ...I just cann't figure out how to do it ....BIOS gives me a Temp option ....but no voltage or FSB options:bang:....

specs are .....

ECS 945G-NM uATX Motherboard.
3 Gig DDR2 5300 @ 667

I know I sound like a fool and perhaps I am ....but has anyone done this before????

Look in advanced chipset.

Could well be that the overclocling options have been removed from your board.

The M3 version of that board does have limited overclocking options but you have the NM OEM version.
One option may be to flash the M3 bios into your board.
I'd do a bit of research on the web first to see if they are actually the same hardware wise first.

Clearly you want to overclock your celly.
3.0GHz is a good target speed, some make it some don't.
Likely you are going to have to replace the MB if you want to have a go.

I have always found ECS boards to be 'dissapointing'
