Weird, everything I saw negative earlier is now showing positive. IIRC they are the exact same numbers but with the sign switched.
I first saw my own contribution for the day was negative, then saw that every active member on our team had the same treatment. I also checked another team and saw the same.
I can see the data updated recently, could it have been a blip their end which was quickly rectified? Not that it really matters, I'm just trying to prove that I wasn't imagining things or going crazy. :)
It could well be. Looking at the logs I'm showing that I detected a timestamp change from their xml stats 8 times in the past 12 hours which is very unusual.

The Wieferich stats are down on free-DC but not on the project website. :)
They'll update soon. There was a problem connecting to the site at some point, so the script backs off gradually.. I've reset that as it looks like the connection is ok for now :)

Bok, when I click on Combined Users my Steve* User name shows up, but then when I click on my Steve* User Name the User Name PoorBoy shows up. Same thing when I click on the Sicituradastra. Team, my Steve* User Name shows up but then when I click on that PoorBoy shows up again.
I didn't realize it until AZMoon asked me about it & I had no idea why that was happening ... Also can you or somebody else change my User Name here to Steve* since I can't do that in my User Account ... Thanks, Steve*
ugh, yeah, I see the bug. Was getting the correct name but overriding from one of the individual (old) project records which is still on the old name. Should be fixed, give it 30mins for the cache to expire.
Altered your name in the forum too.

One thing I have noticed in RNA and others at a certain time the the
Project Main is showing the Data from a day Past as today
But the user's and Teams have the right data for today
The time I see this is about 23:30 CST
You are hitting the cache, which may have been created at a slightly different time so expires later on different pages. No more than 15 mins though. I did used to have a fairly complicated mechanism for expiring the cache after certain events but it did not work too efficiently across machines so it's disabled right now.
LAURENU2
02-11-2011, 01:26 AM
I'm not sure that is it because the project main page and the user's page read the same up until 9:00 to 11:30
Then the main page displays the amounts from yesterday while the user and teams show the correct amounts for that day
I even cleared my cache and rebooted still the same
If you want I can capture a screen shot to show you
below are the figures and times with page links

Bad XML Import - maybe need to run a pre-parse on the files? e-mail one or 2 or links to get them I'll have a look see if I can't work out a quick and clean verify parser.
Nope, nothing to do with the parser at all. The tables on the calc side never crash it's only when copying them over using my own replication scripts (which are raw copy) where it sometimes fails and I have to use a repair table xxxxxx use_frm to recover it. Still running now on the host table and it's holding up the copy over on the current run :)

Hi rilian.
Yes. Your observation is correct. It has been this way from the beginning.
Unfortunately it will remain this way until the project release their stats files.
If you wish to contribute your interest directly to the project please add a post here:
http://mopac.cadaster.eu/forum_thread.php?id=3
although, I believe that at present they are very much focussed on improving the client so that it works more effectively, and thus they will likely get to the stats once that nut has been cracked and the project is up to speed.

The pending should get you there though, right ?
No, because:
a) The amount of granted credit is sometimes less than the claimed amount (depends on wingman)
b) A couple of the pendings are old ones that reached quorum but never validated - A sore point with LHC :(
BTW, Free-DC is very slow today. Perhaps it's the huge amount of upstream that your Slinca is burning up. I stopped crunching it because it was pushing me towards ISP throttling :(

Something wrong with the first hop to the net for some reason. I'm getting 3000+ms to it. I may try to take my cable modem offline and try to get a new IP address.

Unfortunately not until there are major changes to the BOINC server code, there is just no distinction of results done on GPU to those on CPU within the xml on projects where both exist. I should really remove the link as I wrote that at a time when I was hoping they were going to put the changes in..

On the DPAD stats, the "Last Active" column is actually listing the v4.4 results and not the hours since last active. This is true for all the Team and User pages. Example:
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=teams&proj=dpad
That changed quite some time ago. It's actually the 'Total Simulations' - I've updated the heading to reflect that. I'm not currently saving the hrs since last active. I'll switch in on in the db and see how it looks before displaying it.

I see the problem with duplicate stats. Both andorinc and dnetc have the same numebrs. I've never crunched for androinc so my total therre should be zero.
I see dnetc is restoring from backup.
Androinc url redirects to dnetc.
So i guess when FreeDC reads the androinc xml export it is actually is reading the dnetc export becuase of this redirect.
yup. That's exactly what is happening. Going to be a PITA too, when they correct the xml, as all the milestones will have to be programmatically wiped out..I'll figure out some sql magic though.

Thought this might happen since there's now a competing RC5-72 wrapper project. Hey, maybe we need 25
I should have corrected it all now from the backups, might be a few small issues remaining and caches need to expire to see the data. I fixed up all the combined milestones as best I could by deleting any which were > current score. That's not 100% accurate but it would be difficult to find the oddities unless you knew exactly what you were looking for.
I *think* I've updated the historic data from yesterday after correcting it so it smoothes everything out on the graphs. Let me know if you spot anything I missed.
Updated all the *most* data to reflect correctly.
last_update scores will show negative for combined right now but that's very transient anyway.

Hi Bok & gopher,
I have noticed on my User by CPID Stats (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=3ef5f71d77abb1ccaf16dfc16075fab9) that in the Recent Milestones section nothing has been added since Saturday, 23 April 2011. I also noticed from a BOINCStats user search (Fire$torm w/unchecked exact match) that I have a split CPID, which I have tried to correct to no avail.
Any ideas on what I need to do to correct/fix the RM issue.
Thanks in advance,

hmm, first of all, not sure why this was captured as a 'moderation' post in the first place. Fixed that anyway.
I will look into why the milestones have not been captured. You should have had one at 90M and 95M as well as 100M. May well be due to the split CPID. I'll make some manual adjustments if thats the case.
*EDIT* ugh, yeah I do. it's a corrupt table on the web side. Repairing now...it should be ok soon. Stats themselves are ok. As soon as cache expires the milestones will appear..

Nah, doesn't make any difference. The Aqua stats take less than a minute to fully parse and update into the database.
Biggest problem is the milestones, I'm going to have to manually go in and delete a lot of milestones which have been posted. It's probably just a few sql statements though to delete all where the milestone is > current_credit.
As for the moderated post, I've made a small settings change, will see if this helps.

First, For me this is nothing more than a minor nuisance issue with the Aqua@Home stats so low priority here.
Since the debacle Aqua had on the 7th of July, the Recent Milestones section on the main page of my Free-DC stats (User by CPID Stats (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=3ef5f71d77abb1ccaf16dfc16075fab9)) still show the following:

Thursday, 7 July 2011

But on my Aqua@Home user stats page (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=user&proj=aqu&name=36156), the above are not listed, which is as it should be, not listed.
Sunday, 12 June 2011

Tuesday, 27 July 2010

So the question being, is there any chance you could zero out the Aqua@Home references for the 7th of July in regards to user by CPID Recent Milestones?
Or would trying to fix that end up FUBAR'ing all the Free-DC cumulative stats?
Thanks in advance,
Fire$torm
Should have it mostly done, certainly your's will be gone and the majority of the rest of them.
Can't do this in one fell swoop as the cases where there are split CPID's occur also, though we could argue they should be deleted too.

Perhaps this project is not exporting stats yet - so now Im disapeard or what? - Whatr happend to the stats?I'm guessing you came in from an external project site? If you can let me know where from and the host id I can check, if it has no credits then it's not exported in the XML feed from the project, but there could be a number of reasons, including as you say a project not exporting stats, like mopac@home or volpex..

something borked in the last combined stats update
about 377 participants just went 'missing' from the top 850 combined
they will return when the problem is found and fixed
There was an issue earlier today, caused when I fixed an old cpid for someone, I'd never realised but for some reason on one of the tables I was holding the cpid as a varchar(50) when it really should be a char(32). Somehow I updated it with an extra space and it caused a problem with a group by (and in effect lost 1/2 the rows). I fixed the table and restored the combined user table from the backup overnight.. This fixed it.

Confirmed. They are all back now. Sigh. I wish I really was in the top 500. Thanks for the quick thrill :)

Hiya BOK. sorry to be a pain but I noticed today that on any of my Free-DC project User Stats pages all Host stats data is missing though the hosts table header is there.
Just thought you should know.
Not a pain, I'd rather know about it :)
Fixed.

Test4Theory hasn't updated for a few days.
I checked the tables.xml on their stats and it has been updating.
Last stats export was at 1317569404 ... better known as Sun, 02 Oct 2011 15:30:04 GMT
Looks like there could be an issue on this end?
Should be fixed. They changed their url recently and I fat fingered it when I altered it on this end. It'll update pretty soon.

I'm not sure this is the correct thread anymore, but...
I cannot get page 2 or higher in the Primegrid sub-project Woodall LLR. I don't get a "Next" or "Previous" header.
Indeed, looks like it was not on the list of pages which have this type of navigation. I've added it. It'll take some time for the caches to expire given it's a javascript change though.

Don't know if it's just because you haven't got around to starting it up again after the recent outage, but the piecharts are no longer appearing. I just see ...
usercpidperc
usercpidracperc
combuserdaily
combusercumul
usercombmonthly
... where they should be.
Cheers,

yes, there is still an issue with chartdirector failing to load as a dynamic extension.

There hasn't been a Stat's Update for many of the Projects in either over a day or close to a day on the Main Stats's Page >>> http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=index ... Thanks
Yeah, my fault. I put a stop in the scripts for yesterday to make sure I had a clean break to shutdown the database server prior to the power cut. Afterwards when I started them up I forgot to take it out :( So it ran one iteration and then just paused. I fixed it a few hours ago and it's updated now...

Noticed that the "Average Team Rank across Projects" is blank in the stats. Any chance of a fix as it's one of my favorites? Thanks.

Hiya BOK. Seems like the fun never stops....
Wanted to let your that my stats page Recent Milestones column is showing Saturday, 3 March 2012 | 85,000,000 as the most recent but my BOINC overall is at 353,827,413.
Thanks in advance,
F$
hehe, yes, I'm actually fixing that now. I noticed it yesterday and gopher pointed out the obvious to me an hour or so ago :) For some reason it re-created the milestones when they already exist on the archived table. I'm running a purge right now.

Hi guys. I wonder if I got a cache problem or we have a bug. I am logged in but stats says I am not. ?
Do you have the 'Remember Me' ticked when you log into the forum? It seems to need that for some reason I've never figured out, probably the way vBulletin stores the cookie which the stats code looks at.

Yes. It is exactly that ... for the cookie.
Remember Me, makes the cookie persistent, so then the stats side can look at the cookie and see who you are even though you didn't access a forum page.
As per the Stats FAQ #2 here http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=faq

can I get an old CPID on the inactive projects converted to my new CPID?
I did an email change across all active projects and the new CPID appears to have stabilized now.
Magic word: Please :)

these old 49
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=5ca1d2e1fe29017784dca9e8f2b9bdcd
are missing their 68 buddies who have gone over here to the new CPID
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=89e772f65716bba7c962b4a13d14e350
Done, give it a few to propagate.
*warning* - if any of these projects are still putting out xml, it'll revert for that project.
I did note that Rosetta was on a different cpid altogether, are you in process of fixing that one?
AMDave
03-26-2012, 03:13 AM
I know the one you mean, but that's not my Rosetta. It belongs to a like-named participant in USA.
My own Rosetta already has my new CPID and is in the list.
I can deal with any inactives that comeback online.
All the rest have come over.
Many thanks.

Actually, seems to be totally broken in Firefox since yesterday. Missing left-hand sidebar, misaligned elements, graphs have no 3D effect (and missing totally in FF version 7). Not much better in IE, although IE6 (!) does a reasonable job, but it takes ages to render and the greaphs are still not 3D.
Perhaps it's just my stats: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=userbycpid&cpid=cd41405690468f5888029048beb69fb3
Didn't raise it yesterday as I assumed it was a transient problem, but apparently not :(
Cheers,
Al.

Ok I'll fix the fonts.
The Graphs aren't meant to be 3d - using a new to render them, I'm working out the kinks..
