Hopefully we can put all the rss news feeds into this thread. :)
Fraid not, it doesn't work like that. The rss feeder built into vbulletin posts a new thread for each one.
If they bother you, then just create a new forum specifically for them, change the rss feed to go to it, and make sure it doesn't show up in the 'new posts' etc etc, same as I do for the BOINC rss feeds :)

Great idea! :)
Here is the new forum location (just under Folding@home forum)

Took care of the rss feed to new Folding@Home rss feed location.
Can you take care of the 'new posts' part please? ;)

So how do we know there are new F@H news posts if they don't show up using the "new posts" function? Obviously I suppose we can go looking through each forum every time we log in, but I just use new posts and go through the list.
I didn't realise the BOINC ones were doing this as well now?

When you go to the main website, you will see this
http://www.ironbits.net/images/newmsgs.jpg
Notice the New Posts: 0
If you click that one, it shows you everything, if you click the New Posts at the top of the Forum, they will ignore certain forums/sections.

And the BOINC ones show up in the news posts on the frontpage. I'll make sure the F@H ones do as well.

Another way to get new posts from all forums is to click the New Posts at the top of the forum while you're in one of the Seventeen or Bust forums (the official project ones, that is). :)

Oh, ok. I had no idea those two links were different and hardly ever use the front page. Thanks for the heads up!
oh yeah, I'll have to fix that. As the fix was as change to the template and SoB uses a cusotm template...

Actually, don't feel like you have to fix it, I kind of like it that way, gives me options. ;)
