Yea, I really liked all the postings on the board there,
untill I asked the wrong question in the wrong forum
and was insulted for my trouble.
It's a little more quiet here but I haven't been insulted
once.

I was wondering what happened to you FC. I noticed when you left and saw you over here, but I didn't want to seem like I was hounding you by asking why you left. Sorry to hear you got insulted, some of the forums can get more than a little high and mighty...
Anyways, congrats on breaking 10,000 not to long ago. :D

I saw this a little late, but Thanks FireCracker!
Yeah, I saw that post. That's just the way hanser is. You shouldn't let him get to you though, he's all bark.
A little factoid for you. Way back in the day at Ars, it was a popular activity to bitchslap hanser.
Exhibit A (http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=tpc&s=50009562&f=122097561&m=851093571)
Exhibit B (http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=tpc&s=50009562&f=122097561&m=953094727) It's even a poll option!
Exhibit C (http://arstechnica.infopop.net/OpenTopic/page?a=tpc&s=50009562&f=122097561&m=281094332) hanser takes it personally when people complain about gaming threads in general in the DC forum.
He's not that bad of a guy, just more of a lightening rod than anything. And I think he tries to prove himself by deriding others where he was once (less harshly) corrected. So endeth my psychoanalysis for the day.
FireCracker, hope you enjoy yourself over here.
/edit gotta get the links to point to the right spot.
