as the GPU WUs seem to run out or the server goes down.

I want to keep the hungry little beggars fed.

Also whats the best monitoring program and are there any tweaks to get them running faster, or getting more points.

OK so I'm a stats whore, what about it :lmao:

Don't think you can cache work units.

As for performance, I believe Vista is supposed to be better if you're running the GPU client. The GPU uses a certain percentage of one of the CPU cores to run, so if you're running another project on that computer, make sure you leave enough cycles for the GPU to grab when it needs to or performance will suffer.

I use FahMon for monitoring but the other popular one is FahSpy.

The Folding@home forums are very active, so a good place to go hunting for tips. Also, the [H]ard|OCP forums because it is their home ground.

It's difficult to cache the WU's.

The SMP and GPU WU's have very short deadlines which also rules out caching.

Monitoring Use Fahmon
Want more PPD use NV GPU's.

BTW
Stats server is back up so anyone contributing over the last few days will have just got a points bump.
