I'm about 50 pages from the end of the first book (I'm getting there, Bok!) and can't really see how a TV Show can do this story 'properly'. The overall violence contained within the first book alone would make an '18' rating straight away!

Does the video clip contain any spoilers from the first book? I'm not watching it until I know it doesn't!:fight:

One more thing. Why is it called 'Legend of the Seeker' and not 'The Sword of Truth'?:mad:

Yeah, there is no way they could do the Mord-Sith scenes for sure...

After seeing the premiere (which I was kind of apathetic about), it's actually only VERY loosely based on the books to be honest..

Read the books and enjoy them for what they are (AWESOME fantasy novels) and then enjoy the TV series for what it is.

the casting is great the dumbing down of the true sword of truth opening novel is painful.

I just can't see why they had to do it so different. Ok so the book moves quite slowly but why did they have to do what they did.

I mean where was the dragon attack on the Cypher house, which got tied in so well later.

Why did they have Kahlan and Denee riding with the book of counted shadows when it should have been memorised and destroyed ages ago anyway.

They've made some very poor decisions with what should have been amazing.

I'm not sure I'll be bothering with the downloads TBH, a great shame.
