Well, it looks like I might not be able to make it this year! I just talked to my Son up in Wa. State, and found out that He, His Fiance, and My Granddaughter, are going to be arriving on the 19th for Christmas. I haven't seen my Granddaughter in 4 years, and found out She wants to spend the weekend with Grandpa while the others go visit her family. It should be interesting! Me trying to entertain a 6 yo for the weekend!!! lol

Nope your an hour behind i.e 6pm CST = 5pm MST.
Oh and The lotto game is as tested as I could get it tested. Please note I had no way of putting in "guests" unless I can manage to get that written today and done in a way which means you don't need to "login" each game as I read off the user info from the board i.e your nick.
I'll hopefully be on hand to help...

Sorry I didn't make the party. It looks like you guys were going from about 00:00 until 03:00 local time for me. I had to start work at 04:00 so there was no chance I could've made it. Oh well, it looks like you had fun. :)
It was a great time everyone. A big THANK YOU goes to Lauren, for being such a wonderful host and always putting together these GREAT parties! Another big THANK YOU goes to Gopher for that awesome Lotto software... that was a blast! And DP, you rule for donating that gift card! I'm going to be heading to Walmart later for some 6' "twig" trees for next year. One of them will have your(or your kids) name all over it! (literally btw!)
And to everyone else, it was great talking with you and seeing everyone catch up on things. The wifey had a great time to talking with Moogie about kids too.
Only gripe I have is I think someone put something in my beverages... I woke up with a bit of a headache. ;)
Merry Christmas! :santa:

The kids would go crazy if they saw their names (Sébastien and Xavier). That would be way cool.
Jeff.

Well ok then. :D Something will have to have their names on it next year and show up in a video. :)
Actually... that's a pretty cool idea. Maybe make a tree with ornaments on it with names and then show some of them in a video... hmmmm... could be neat!

I wanted to add my thanks as well. Got the hat last week. Of course, I've yet to be able to wear it because it appears it's being broken in by other members of my family.
I guess so I don't get blisters or something? :)

Any Free-DC members with art skills? Last I checked, there were no Free-DC shirts a cafepress.com. (I think that's the name of the site) Plenty of DCing shirts, especially SETI, but nothing specifically referring to Free-DC.
/me is about to start begging, and you definitely don't want to see that.
/me also goes to cafepress.com to make sure his assertion is still true. If it isn't YEE-HAH!!! If it is...Well, we already discussed that.
Edit: Hmmmm, it appears that I'd forgotten about those shirts. I remember now that I passed on buying them. The reason I wanted a Free-DC is so people might ask me about DCing, and Free-DC in particular. People aren't going to be attracted to any of those shirts and talk to me unless they already have an idea what DCing is. How about someone add some stuff to the shirts, like "Ask me how you can help with cutting edge research while sitting on your butt watching tv."
Yes, a very big THANK YOU to Lauren for the hat! My wife and kids laughed at me because I was like "Oh YES!" when I opened it up. :) (they thought Santa came back around I guess...)
Thanks again,
Jeff
