Currently I am crunching for Aqua, and that is it. Can one do multiple projects on the same computer or does that defeat the purpose? If so, can someone please tell me what other projects I could run at the same time, and how many?
PS: I am working on getting more computers. :) I just have to time it right. ;)
You can indeed. Just add another project in boinc manager.
You set the resource share of each project on the project's website (defaults to 100). So if you added say nQueens (http://nqueens.ing.udec.cl/) you would have both Aqua and nQueens at 100 each which gives a 50% share for each. Boinc would then download workunits from each project and it would handle running them equally.
Pretty much hands off. Best way is to try it and see what I mean though. A picture paints a thousand words and all that :p

Yes Unless you change them It will just flip flops between the 2 . or 1+1 on a X2 or 2+2 on a quad if you have them set for 100% CPU usage
