I don't know if it me or somethiing else. I've been using this link: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=usermain&name=KAMCOBILL for my stats, but the pages haven't been loading for 2 days. It seems to get held up on the ads trying to load and if they get loaded it hags up on database.

I tried stats3 and it's the same. Stats4 is working but I can't find all the links (e.g. 10K). But, I did find some Fun Milestones in Boinc page.

Is it on my end?

Loads up just fine for me.

Anyone else confirm ?

stats4 and stats are basically identical in content so if one works so should the other...

Loaded up fine for me many hours ago when I tested it...

Confirmed on FF 3 and IE 6, works for me..
It might have been when some database access was happening and thus maybe a time out?

Not that likely given the way I do all the database manipulation in one database then at the last minute transfer it to the one which is shown.

All I can think of is that there was a problem with some script on the page which you could not access for some reason from your end.

KAMCOBILL, is it working now ?

It's loading with IE7 but not FF3. That means it's on my end, huh? Who'da thunk it? I started using Firefox about a year ago, because it has better features than Internet Explorer. Thanks for the help.

I use FF3 as well and it works ok from my end...

Might you have javascript turned off for the site perhaps ? (using noscript addon)

It was working and all of a sudden it quit. Maybe there was a FF update that cause it. I'll have to check it out further. Thanks

Edited: It started working by itself now.

Can you give examples of pages which you can see and can't?

And also tell us which browser you are using, whether you have javascript on or not.

This page the banners and menus load but the stats dont

http://stats4.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=user&proj=bwcg&name=449482

this page does load properly

http://stats4.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=team&proj=bwcg&team=6222

hope that makes sense

am using ie7 and firefox have removed cookies and clearwed the cache but no effect

The answer is never to use stats4 as that is our development area and prone to be broken at any time..(that page does not render for me either :) )

use http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=user&proj=bwcg&name=449482

and

http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=team&proj=bwcg&team=6222

I'm not getting any page to load. Just the basic design. No database numbers at all. On every page I try. It just says "Loading Stats data..."

javascript turned off ? The content is loaded via an AJAX call, so if you are blocking javascript it would do exactly that.

Does the index page (http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=index) even do it ?

Which browser ?

Try to do a force reload of the page i.e. shift-Refresh to reload any javascript files.

No changes in browser. Running Firefox most recent version.

The index page would not load either.

I would wait up to 5 minutes but nothing. And i am at work now, so I can't force reload. Serves me right for posting and then going to work.

I will let you know what happens when I get home in 9 hours.

well that is very strange. We'll sort it out though.

I'll PM you with my email and we can figure it out with some logging.

If you can try it at work :rotfl: might work I'm sure it's just a cache issue..

old "Stats" files most likely cause as most of it's been changed.

I'm getting the same message. I've tried two different ISPs - Telstra and Optus.
Stats4 works OK.

You try a forced refresh of the page to clear out all the old data?

stats4 is an identical copy of stats as of this afternoon.....got to be the cache somehow

We'll see if anyone else gets it, I can't think why else stats4 would work when stats doesn't when they are identical otherwise..

Thanks - that fixed it. Ctrl-F5 in Firefox 3.0.5

The Control F5 worked for me also. Only the page stops short of the right side. I am running at 1280 x 1024 @85Hrtz

Try clicking on my sig for some fun.

I am using firefox if that matters.

Bok
01-17-2009, 02:19 PM
??? Well you have your sig pointing to a non existant file, so it gives our default not found page ? Is that what you meant ?

That's a throwback too to a long time ago when it was much more static :)

Point it to http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=usermain&name=fractal instead perhaps ?

Bok

Yes, that's what I meant. Fortunately, I don't use that sig on many forums, but it is a hassle to go and change all of them every time you feel like changing your url's..

Bok
01-17-2009, 03:20 PM
That's nothing to do with the sig itself though. It's your signature on this forum board that has a [url= in it. Change it there on this board.

The link you have for it has been gone for almost 2 years now!!
