Anyone else having strange issues initially attaching to projects or reattaching old projects that you've not been doing in a while..
Got my other machine BOINC'd tried to connect to NQueens - didn't want to know, tried Aqua@Home same thing but now NQueens is happy to connect and getting loads of work, doing some Rosetta at same time as that's one I could connect to.

Account all set up and verified working, used BAM to set it up, can get to the website from the PC in question so I've no idea running latest BOINC client.

Yes at times they all seem to choke at times
Just attach and just let them work at getting work
:brainfart:Use BOINC 6.45 for M$

Using 6.4.5 for Windows, thing isn't gonna annoy me too much YET!

Go back to 6.4.2

6.4.5 has scheduling issues they are hoping to work out in 6.6.2 (which I'm patiently waiting for..) all to do with the addition of GPU's.

I see your problem you need to ask for 1 day of work or more Not the 0.25 that you are asking for now

Oh but I am asking for more than 0.25 days work let me check...
Calc (43176 as hrs);
11hrs59m36s so more that 0.25 days which is 6hrs anyway.

From my prefs' page on Aqua@Home
Computer is connected to the Internet about every 0.0100000 days
(BOINC will try to maintain at least this much work.) - set to 0 now, I used BAM to set it up..
Maintain enough work for an additional (Enforced by version 5.10+) 3 days

Does anyone know how to block the annoying e-mail messages from this Spanish site:

edges-local-devbnc-srv.ceta-ciemat.es

They frequently send e-mails announcing that a BOINC-wide team account has been created for my team. Unfortunately the projects don't seem to proceed to something more substantial than these pesky e-mails.

In addition, I don't actually recall sending ceta-ciemat.es a "reponse"[sic]

This email was sent in reponse[sic] to a request on the DSP Test web site.

To log in to your DSP Test account, visit:

It's because you have set up a boinc wide user/team. It automatically creates an account for you when someone sets up a new project..

They has been some discussion on the list about whether it should be the default behaviour, but no real concensus.

Most of them will likely have been created automatically via the boinc wide team mechanism.

There are 4 or 5 of these 'edges' projects out there, none have ever had work or even message boards that I've seen...
