I just got an email from someone wanting stats (I think) like I've done for the members of the various teams. I've actually had this ready for some time, but until I finish the page design and navigation, it won't be linked from anywhere.

So, in the meantime, if anyone is interested, you can find the list of teamless users (those who aren't using None for a name) right here:

Teamless User Stats at Zeroth Element (http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-users.pl?team=0)

You can click on any user's name and get quite a bit more information about just that user.

For those of you who don't already know, the actual team and team member stats can be found here:

Distributed Folding Stats at Zeroth Element (http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-teams.pl)

These are the permanent locations for both links, but the system is still far from finished. There are a ton of things still to be done, and a bunch of things that are already done but are waiting for something else (like the Teamless Page is waiting for the nav bar to be finished). Feel free to use them, but keep in mind that much of the functionality is still disabled. There's much more to come.

First thanks for the team stats. Beautiful work.

What about user stats? It would be great to see a list of the users and see my position relative to everyone else not just my own team. Or is it there and I am missing something?

I think this is what you want:

User stats without respect to teams is on my list. ;)

It'll probably be up and ready by the end of the week. It'll work just like the team user lists, only it'll list everyone.

I'll post a link as soon as it's available.

Is there a way to be un-reported?

Here I thought that by not joining a team I could avoid becoming a statistics "rat race" participant. My reason for joining a distributed project is to help increase total human knowledge -- not competition. I have __NO__ desire to be publicly "ranked" as to whether I am contributing more, or less, than other participants.

You have a couple of options. You can change your account name to "None" and then you won't be tracked (per Howard's specifications) ... or... you could just not go to the pages that are tracking your stats! ;)

You are reported even by the official stats on the page of the "Teamless users" (Team 0):

Yep, just leave your username at the default (None) (i.e. the actualy word, None). Then you will not be tracked and if you are on the Teamless Users page your UID will be kept secret as well giving you total anonymity.

I like Statsman and look regularly but I really like the immediacy and hourly reporting of Dyyryath's pages.

You can now use the following link to access the 'All Users' page. This page is precisely that, every user (with a name or team affiliation) in the project. All of the normal things (color coding, activity shading/hiding, rank by column, etc) work with this page just as the team user pages.
