I would have missed reporting the second of these 2 primes after discovering a feature of Google Mail I hadn't realised was active. This despite using Google since their early days. The message did carry a (2) in the title or part there of. I puzzled over this discrepancy for a good half hour as the message had lost it's 2nd part and I hadn't reported the Primes immediately (but fortunately didn't delete the email :-) Yes that's been done as well). Anyhoo...not to get too long winded and I realise a few will be laughing at this (and that as well probably). There appears to be an auto collapse of a message by an arbitray amount after reading and tho' I knew of the expand feature, this only expands part of it so I was missing one Prime. I tried this again, I checked other mails and I went through the prime site and our sites with a fine tooth comb, including almost everybody's terms and conditions, faqs and features, Help section etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum. I was about to mail Google and our forum mailer admin when I was interrupted by the delivery of a couple of wake up pills and a (very "long") glass of Bacardi and Coke over cracked ice ( so cold it sounds like the crack of doom or a Sharps 40-40 long cartridge) Well the sun, if you can see it this time of year, was over the yardarm, and I need something of a "shock" kickstart after 3 days of less than 3 hours a day sleep AND it was past 1300hrs (PM). So, OH! , where was I or are you all asleep or dead yet? Oh yes, email to Google. My mouse ( a peculiar Microsoft Notebook 6000 that insists on switching off every 5 seconds and doesn't like any surface colour except the mixed blue and white of a shorthand notepad) had wandered off to the right hand edge of the screen, a long way to turn my crackly kneck after investing my pocket money in a 2560x1600 display, and a major disadvantage of widescreens (as is the loss of my overloaded upper shelf above the monitor) ( well the draw is packed with bits, dongles and a couple fibre switch units and the printer shelf has 2 printers and a scanner crammed on and underneath as well as the desktop is layered with bits of paper and sticky notes which no longer stick to the monitor). A typical hardware techy desk? My workbench is 9 layers deep in bits and bobs and one of my junk boxes has been eaten by the steel office safe/cupboard to which the handle is broke (blame people insisting on strong passwords for that one, and the combination wheel is now a `free`wheel instead of a clicky clacky one). So AGAIN? Where was I? Oh Ho, A global collapse tag..... well we know all about them don't we? now, says collapse/expand. Expand? Don't remember that old fashioned idea of a term!!! Bear market? NOOOOOHHHHH. Bull market? Yeah baby....etc. Hey man, I got my double Prime back again and Google saves itself from total collapse and overload of their servers by one of these short emails.......

So now I got 2 at once. The server Gods have taken mercy on you all.... Not often I get one but suddenly 2 come along at once. What was that saying about buses etc.?

Not only do I write long and rambling messages, when I was in radio, amateur/ham and pro long range stuff including key, I supposedly held the record for a portable 2.5w Yaesu in both range and length of non stop speaking from UK to Sweden with 1hrs10mins and as a pro, from Falklands to northern Norway (nearly both Ant and Arctic Circles) via LW and key of 1hr42mins non stop. And neither was cross/dual band or 2 simultaneous tho supposedly, the impossible multi tasking simultaneous doing 3 things at once!!! Dunno who said that but neither man nor woman can actually do simultaneity, it's just the speed at which you are able to switch attention with no pause or blanking and that even applies to visual acuity where you definitely do have a nano second or so of blackout between switching your subject of view.
UH oh. Gotta stop cos I'm off again on a tangent........
