I'm running RedHat 8 on a mail server that has lots of unused cycles. I d/l the software and on starting it: ./foldit

I get a request:

Please enter the handle exactly as you received it upon registration (or type 'quit' to abort). Enter Handle:


It doesn't like the one I got when registering here.

What do I need to do?

So I looked around and found a different set of screens to register at, and it liked them.

I've got folding to do, so I'll go now.

So, can I run the project on more than one PC at the same time with the same username?

Yep. Just feed it that 8 character code it gave you, and it works no problem. If you're running on a dual processor machine, you do have to install a separate copy in a separate directory for each processor.
