I get this message when I boot the client -

that's not the new version. i admit i have posted it (way to go beating me to the announcement) but you somehow got the oldest version running there. i just downloaded directly from the Ann Arbor mirror and ran it and I show it as v1.0.2, not v0.9.2.

You must have expanded the new version somewhere else. The download should be named sb102-BeOS.tar.gz.

Let me know how the new version performs. I don't know that I've licked everything but I am sure it is a heck of a lot better. sorry for the bugs in the last couple clients. your reports have helped.

PS - there is also a new FreeBSD client out too.

Louie,

Man...you are fast with the updates :) I just happened by and snagged it ... running it on two duals and tbird now...I'll let you know.

Thanks again for making the BeOS client...it's very cool to see a "dead" OS have a release on a very nice DC project like yours.

Well...with the new version...one dual stopped processing at around 58% in each instance (no error message) and the TBird locked up with a kernel panic :( . No way to get a debug message from either.
